General rules for every bet you place
This page applies to all games on the site: slots, instant win games, virtual table games and live dealer tables. Where a single game publishes its own rules, those rules govern that game, and the sections below cover the points that apply across your whole account.
One account per player
You may hold one account only, in your own name, with your own address and your own payment methods. An account opened for, or funded by, another person may be suspended while we look into the matter. Play is for adults aged 18 and over; we hold a gaming licence and verify the identity, age and payment details of every account holder.
- Bets are placed from the balance in your account only. We do not extend credit of any kind.
- A bet is final once it is confirmed in the game. There is no option to cancel, change or take back a confirmed bet, spin or hand.
- Stakes are limited to the minimum and maximum shown in each game and to the limits shown in your account.
- You are responsible for every bet you confirm, including the stake level selected and any auto-play or quick-spin setting you leave running.
Real-money and bonus balances
Your account can hold real-money funds and bonus funds at the same time. The order in which the two balances are used is set by the game and the promotion and is shown in the cashier before you play. While a bonus is active, the stake caps and game restrictions in the bonus terms apply to the whole session.
18+ only
Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over, and age and identity are checked. If play stops being enjoyable, set a deposit limit, take a time-out or self-exclude from your account, and consider the free, confidential support offered by GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline.
How bets and spins are settled
Every outcome is produced on the game server, not on your device. The result recorded by the game server is the result that stands, and it is the record we use if a round is queried. What appears on screen is a display of that result; where the two differ, the server record applies.
- You confirm a bet and the round is sent to the game server.
- The server produces the outcome using the random number generator built into the game.
- Wins are calculated from the game's own paytable and rules at the stake you confirmed.
- The settled amount is credited to the balance it was staked from and listed in your account history.
Each game publishes what you need before you stake: its rules, its paytable, its bet range and its theoretical return to player figure, shown as a percentage of all stakes returned to players over a very large number of rounds. That figure is a long-run average and does not predict the outcome of any one session.
| What you are looking for | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Game rules and bet types | The help panel inside the game |
| Paytable and win combinations | The paytable screen opened from the game menu |
| Minimum and maximum stake | The bet selector and the game's information panel |
| Return to player percentage | The game's information panel, shown as a percentage |
Malfunctions and interrupted rounds
A malfunction voids all pays and play. If a game, a feature or our systems do not behave as designed, any result produced by the fault is void, whether it would have been a win or a loss, and stakes affected by it are returned to the balance they came from.
- Faults include display errors, duplicated rounds, incorrect paytable values and any result a game was not designed to produce.
- A win shown in error is not payable, and we may correct your balance where funds have been credited that were not won.
- Where a fault affects a bonus feature, the feature may be restored, settled at its correct value or voided, depending on what the game logs show.
If your connection drops mid-round, nothing is lost through the disconnection itself. The round is held on the server: when you reopen the game, you either continue from the point you reached or find the round already settled and the outcome applied to your balance. Unfinished live rounds are completed under the rules of the table concerned.
Checking a round yourself
Your account history lists each round with its date, time, stake and outcome, so you can double-check a settlement before contacting us.
Playing with bonus funds
Bonus funds are played under the terms of the promotion they came from, shown when you claim the offer and in the promotions area of your account. Where those terms and this page differ on a point about bonus play, the bonus terms apply.
- A maximum stake per spin, hand or round applies while wagering is outstanding, as stated in the bonus terms.
- Games contribute to wagering at different rates and some do not contribute at all; the rates are published with each offer.
- Covering most outcomes of a table game, or using low-risk bets to clear wagering, is not permitted.
- Breaking a bonus condition may void the bonus and any winnings made from it, and unused bonus funds are removed once the stated period ends.
Live casino and table games
Live tables are run by a dealer in a studio under the published rules of the table you join. Each table has its own help panel covering bet types, payouts, side bets and the betting positions available.
- The dealer's decisions on the conduct of the game are final, including the calling of results and the handling of cards, dice or the wheel.
- Bets must be confirmed before the betting timer ends. Late bets are not accepted and the stake stays in your balance.
- A card dealt in error, a no-spin or an obstructed wheel is handled under the table rules, which may void the round and return stakes.
- Each table sets its own minimum and maximum stake per position, and sitting out or losing your connection may forfeit your seat.
Queries about a settled round
If you believe a round has settled incorrectly, contact us on live chat on the site or by e-mail to support@casino-richyfox.co.uk. Please give the game name, the date and time with your time zone, the stake and the round reference shown in your account history, so we can find the round quickly.
- We locate the round in the game logs and compare it with the game's rules and paytable.
- We confirm what the server recorded and whether any fault affected the round.
- We write back with the outcome and correct your balance where a correction is due.
The server logs are the final record of play, and we rely on them rather than on screenshots or a description of what appeared on screen. If our answer does not settle the matter, our complaints procedure explains how to take it further, including to the alternative dispute resolution service named there. You can also set deposit limits, take a time-out or self-exclude at any time; GamStop lets you block yourself from licensed online gambling sites in Great Britain, and GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline offer free, confidential help.
